MILAN TO RELEASE TOMANDANDY’S RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE

Music from the Motion Picture Resident Evil Afterlife by TOMANDANDY to be released on Milan Records, Tuesday September 7, 2010

Los Angeles (CA) – Action packed Resident Evil: Afterlife directed by Paul W.S. Anderson is the fourth installment of the hugely successful video game turned film franchise. Afterlife is the first film in the series to be released in 3D using James Cameron’s Fusion Camera System. It features an exciting and fast-paced score by producing duo Tomandandy.

TOMANDANDY (http://www.tomandandy.com/) delivers an enthralling electronic score capturing the energy and vigor of the film. “At every turn, the director Paul W. S. Anderson encouraged us to avoid cliché. He had little interest in traditional orchestral colors, encouraging us instead to explore the edges of noise and modern sound synthesis.”

Exciting musical sequences, dramatic, suspenseful or action-packed, are prominently featured throughout the film and play an essential role in defining the film’s universe. The essence of Resident Evil: Afterlife can be felt musically from start to finish.

In a world riddled with the T-virus outbreak, turning victims into the Undead, Alice (Milla Jovovich) continues her search for survivors. As her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, she gets unexpected help from an old friend.

A new lead that promises a safe haven takes the two to Los Angeles where they find more survivors and team up to fight against Albert Wesker, the head of the Umbrella Corporation. As the city is overrun by thousands of Undead, Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap. Chris Redfield, a primary character from the video games, is featured for the first time in the film franchise. Returning characters include Clair Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Albert Wesker.

Sony Screen Gems is releasing the film in 3D and IMAX 3D on September 10 on more than 3,000 screens nationwide. Milan Records is releasing the album digitally on September 7, followed with a physical release available in stores on September 28.
