(May 25, 2017 – Los Angeles, CA) – To mark the 95th anniversary of his birth, two special concerts will celebrate the music of legendary composer Elmer Bernstein. Both concerts will be narrated and conducted by Elmer’s son Peter Bernstein and hosted by legendary film director John Landis who worked with Elmer on seven films: Animal House, The Blues Brothers, An American Werewolf in London, Trading Places, Spies Like Us, Three Amigos!, and Oscar. triple-9Oscar-winning composer and Nine Inch Nail co-founder Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Love & Mercy,The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) has co-scored with Claudia Sarne, Leopold Ross, and Bobby Krlic the new John Hillcoat (Lawless, The Road, The Proposition) crime thriller, Triple 9. Ross is one of the most versatile composers today, and on this score he incorporated new electronic sounds, loops, and synths giving each track a distinct intensity not seen in traditional film scores.
