The concert will have the worldwide live premiere of “The X-Files” soundtrack

FIMUCITÉ 3, sponsored by Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, will give this July 24, the first of the two great concerts that the Tenerife Film Orchestra & Choir will play in Tenerife Auditorium. Mark Snow and the composer and director of the Festival Diego Navarro will conduct the scores of John Ottman, of the Academy Award winner Jan Kaczmarek, and of Snow himself.

Snow will conduct the theme for “Millenium”, the worldwide live premiere of “The X-Files”: “Post Modern Prometheus”, “Surgery”, “Crossroads”, “Home again”, “The Theme from X-Files”, and the “End Credits” of “Crazy in Alabama”. Then, Diego Navarro will conduct John Ottman’s “They’ll Remember You” from “Valkyrie” soundtrack, “Silver Surfer Suite” from “Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer”, the “Superman Returns Suite”, and “Blue Core Pursuit” and “The End Titles” from “Astroboy”.

The second half of the concert will be focused on Jan Kaczmarek’s work. The Tenerife Film Orchestra & Choir will play “Impossible Opening” and “This is Neverland” from “Finding Neverland”, soundtrack which made him win an Oscar Academy Award, “Colloseum” from “Quo Vadis?”, “Unfaithful”, “ The War Passchandealle” from “Passchandealle”, and a selection from “War and Peace”.

JOHN WILLIAMS: BACK TO HARRY POTTER?

In an interview, Harry Potter producer David Heyman expressed the possibility that composer John Williams might return for the eighth and final film in the series (the conclusion of the final novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows):

The question is will John Williams come back? I’m a huge fan of John Williams he did three of the scores and I think he is amazing. He came up with some of the themes that have carried on. We have talked to John Williams and a lot of it will depend on his schedule for [Harry Potter] seven part two. If we can make work, and that’s a big if, for his schedule and ours then yes.
